About the Course

Pilates is a training method that includes dynamic precision exercises, applied in all ages, genders and different training status individuals with positive outcomes in several physiological factors such as lowing body fat, increasing muscle mass, improving vascular function and several physical fitness parameters including muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, dynamic balance and motion control. 

The Pilates exercise method can be performed either from standing or laying position using only the weight of the body, or using auxiliary supports (props) such as tyres, therapeutic foam rollers, balls, rings, small bars, small weights and wooden rods. These props contribute in improving stabilization of the body and body balance while supporting the joints during the execution of the movements.
